Tournaments

Tournaments are available through the North Central Karate Association.

WHAT ARE TOURNAMENTS?

Tournaments are optional and a fun way to apply what you learn during class to a competition. You will be competing against people your same age and belt rank, only from different studios.

Everybody can do their form,

Green & up can spar, and Red & up
can compete with weapons.

What to Expect at a Tournament:

The process is simple and extremely fun! Once we get closer to the date of a tournament, you will enroll online ahead of time. Most often, they are held in high school gyms. The gyms will be divided into separate rings for each age/rank division.

You show up and do your best in form, sparring, or weapons!
