Overview About The American Karate Studio

As a beginning student at The American Karate Studio, you will begin training with other new students as a white belt. We have kid’s only classes, adult only classes and family classes. Each beginning student is given special care by one of our many well-trained instructors and their progress is monitored on a daily basis. Instructors are always around after class for extra instruction. All attempts are made to see that the student is completely comfortable. If you are a quick learner and wish to progress at a faster pace, classes are offered six days a week. Over time, you will see the benefits of karate training and their effects in life: self-defense, modesty, physical fitness, self-control, perseverance and indomitable spirit.

American Karate Studio Philosophy

From the beginning of their martial arts training, Mr. Marotta’s students are taught that restraint and the avoidance of conflict are the highest virtues. By joining American Karate Studio, you become a part of a tradition that dates back centuries. The person who takes up karate at The American Karate Studio will soon learn that there is something about the art that he or she wants in his or her life.

Whether you are fitness-oriented or looking for a sense of confidence and security, you will find it here. Our students range in age from 4 1/2 to seventy-five. Men, women, and children benefit from karate training.

Creating more self-esteem in people is our first priority. Deriving confidence from within by developing inner talents helps people feel better about themselves. At American Karate Studio, we are here to make you a stronger, more confident person. With hard work and a positive attitude, you gain confidence and have fun at the same time!
