| Though entirely extra-curricular, if you wish, there is a well-established and well-organized tournament circuit that you can compete in for fun, experience and possibly trophies. Mr. Marotta and many of our Black Belts are at all events and will always be there to answer any questions you may have that day. We will not coach you that day as coaching is against the NCKA tournament rules. You can have family/friends cheer for you but no coaching. That is all done before the tournament back in the Studios. Competing has many benefits, the main one being the experience you gain performing in front of judges. It definitely helps you when you come back to the Studio to perform at your next belt promotion. |
